Little Ra Ra Roopa 2015
A blend of 79% Sauvignon Blanc and 21% Riesling. The Sauvignon Blanc is whole bunch fermented in stainless for 10 days before be pressed to barrel to complete fermentation. The Riesling is crushed and de-stemmed and remains on skins for two days prior to pressing. Each component spends 11 months on lees in old French oak prior to blending and bottled unfiltered in Feb '16.
Roopa is both an orange wine and a good friend of Pyren. A skin contact wine of spicy texture and a fair skinned cabernet maker with a heart of gold and a ginger hue. When drinking this wine, you need to ask yourself... What would Roopa do?
