Pyren Vineyard was established in 1999. Situated on the northern slopes of the dramatic Warrenmang Valley in Australia’s Pyrenees wine region, the vineyard’s dedicated purpose is to produce premium wine and, in particular, great shiraz.
Pyren Vineyard produced two medal winning shiraz wines in its first commercial vintage, an achievement which testifies to the quality of the site chosen for the vineyard. With successive vintages, our goal is to develop a deeper understanding of the site and to continue to produce wines which exemplify the Pyrenees region’s unique, cool climate style of shiraz. In addition to shiraz, we produce a cabernet sauvignon and will release viognier and durif wines when those vines reach sufficient maturity.
